The Annapurna Circuit Trek passes through lowland Brahmin and Chhetri villages to the remote village of Manang and descends the Kali Gandaki Gorge (officially the deepest gorge in the world). Thorung La Pass (5416m) in the trek is one of the highest passes in the world which trekkers can summit without climbing a mountain. With a wide range of culturally rich ethnic groups, diverse terrain that ranges from subtropical jungle to high and dry landscape, the trek also includes spiritual hub Muktinath and Poon Hill, a famous viewpoint for panoramic mountain views.
Annapurna Circuit Trekking, the most popular among classic treks in Nepal is a two-week journey along spectacular mountain scenery, ethnic and cultural diversity and above all, the Himalayan hospitality. From far north of the Himalayas to the Tibetan Plateau, the route passes through diverse ethnic groups taking an altitude of 5416m at Thorung La.
The Annapurna Circuit Trek commences at Bhulbhule or Khudi (the classical route starts from Beshishahar). The first few days of the Annapurna Circuit Trek passes through rice fields, jungle trails and hospitable villages of the Annapurna Conservation Area. The serene views of Mt. Manaslu (8187m) and the Annapurna range delights the early days of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. At the Tibetan village of Manang (3500m), we spend a day whilst observing the worship rituals of Buddhist monks in the monasteries of this area. Photographers would marvel at the side trip to the Gangapurna Lake and the Gangapurna Glacier. Then the ascent to the Throng La Pass (5416m), the highest point in the Annapurna Circuit Trek that bestows us with spectacular views of Mustang Peak and the snow-covered giant - Dhaulagiri (8167m). We then reach the village of Muktinath where we can see the sacred Hindu pilgrimage - Muktinath Temple with its 108 spring water taps and mysterious natural gas fires. The descent from here follows the breathtaking Kali Gandaki River Valley.
A two-day descent from Muktinath, Tatopani is famous for its natural hot springs - perfect for relaxation and also believed to heal diseases. From here, the Annapurna Circuit Trek passes through Ghorepani, Tadapani, Ghandruk and finally drive to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.

Every Monday, Thursday & Saturday are our group departure date for Annapurna Circuit Trek from March to May & September to November.
Day 1 :Arrival in Kathmandu-Transfer to HotelOur Airport Representative will meet you at the Tribhuwan International Airport. A drop to the Hotel by private tourist vehicle is arranged. You can either take a rest or meet us at our office and know the detail arrangement of the Trek. A welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
Day 2 :Drive to Shange via Dumre, Besisahar and Bhulbhule We commence early in the morning with a long drive that goes on for seven to eight hours that passes Besisahar to reach Bhulbhule. Nepalese countryside with a mix of greeneries, small villages and beautiful mountain views lie en route. The road gets gets a little rough and primitive after Besisahar. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bhulbhule.
Day 3 :Trek Shange to Tal (1710m) We leave Bhulbhule after breakfast to embark on this seven to eight hours journey. On the way to Chamje, we pass paddy fields and cross slippery and steep trails that runs along the rhododendron forest. After crossing a rocky trail through the banks of the Marsyangdi River, and climbing uphill, we reach Tal, the first village in Manang district where we take shelter for the night.
Day 4 :Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap (2160m)Crossing an extensive flat valley, we climb a stone staircase to reach a height of 1860m. The wavy ups and downs leads to Dharapani. A stone chorten typical to Tibetans resembling the entrance to their villages comes across. We reach Bagarchhap, our station for the day at an elevation of 2160m, where typical Tibetan flat-roofed stone houses can be seen.
Day 5 :Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m)The trails ascend through the rocky trail to Timang at 2360m and then pass through a forest with a river nearby. Passing Kopar at 2590m, we reach the headquarters of Manang - Chame where the blessed views of Annapurna II awaits us. Two small hot springs also lie near the town adding relief to the long trek with relaxing and healing hot water baths. Overnight stay at Chame.
Day 6 :Trek from Chame to Pisang (3300m)From Chame, the trail through the forest is steep and narrow and brings us to a curved rock face 1500m above the river. The scenic beauty of the Himalayan Peaks opens up along the trail and further on, we find ourselves in the U-shaped valley of Manang between two giant snow peaks. After crossing a long bridge at 2910m and climbing to get to yet another bridge at 3040m, we start to get the towering view the Paungda Danda rock face. The trail with magnificent backdrop finally leads to Pisang at 3200m. Overnight stay at Lower Pisang.
Day 7 :Trek from Pisang to Manang (3500m)Taking the trail through the upper part of Manang district, we walk along trails cut off by the effect of the monsoon. The local people here herd yaks & raise crops for part of the year along with their trading business. The end of Pisang leads to alternate trails north and south of the Marsyangdi River which meet up again at Mungji. The southern route by Hongde, involves less climbing than the northern route via Ghyaru but offers majestic panoramic views of mountain peaks. Harsh weather conditions pick up. From Mungji, the trail continues through Bryanga, a hidden village to Manang. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 8 :Acclimatization day at ManangA day to acclimatize, enjoy the views, observe village culture and take relaxing walks whilst getting ready to gain altitude. Sitting idle is not recommended, and one of the best options is to visit the Ice Lake which takes 5/6 hours to go and come back. Overnight stay at Manang.
Day 9 :Trek from Manang to Ledar (4250m)Leaving Manang, the trail crosses a stream and makes an ascent of nearly 2000m to the Thorung La pass. The route makes a progressive ascent through Tenki, leaving the Marsyangi Valley. Turning northwest and continuing along the Jarsang Khola Valley, Ledar (4250m) is reached where the night is spent at a guest house.
Day 10 :Trek from Ledar to Phedi or High camp (4600m)First we descend to cross a river at 4310m and then ascend up to Phedi at 4420m. Some good recently constructed guest houses can be found at High Camp on the elevation of 4600m where we settle for our overnight stay.
Day 11 :Trek from Phedi or High Camp to Muktinath (3710m)We leave early from Phedi (foot of the hill) and climb to Thorung La pass (5416m) at the beginning of the day. The climb is tedious if covered with snow as it is steep, otherwise it is a regularly used route that is easy to follow. We reach the pass after four hours of climbing which is marked by chortens and prayer flags. Reaching the top is rewarding as you can have a magnificent view. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists alike with its 108 water spouts on the walls surrounding the temple of Vishnu. Overnight stay at Muktinath.
Day 12 :Trek from Muktinath to Tukuche (2600m)Walking past Ranipauwa and Jharkot along the stoney and sandy paths, we reach Kagbeni, a typical Tibetan village. From here, we move to Jomsom. The walk further continues through wide roads along flat land with views of Tilicho and Nilgiri North Peaks until we reach Tukuche, the centre of Thakali people.
Day 13 :Trek from Tukuche to Ghasa (2100m)Leaving Tukuche, we head towards Lete, where we get a wonderful view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. From here, we follow the Kaligandaki river and walk till Ghasa. Overnight stay at Ghasa.
Day 14 :Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani (1200m)Subtropical vegetation starts to get prominent as the trek drops to lower elevations. Passing through Rupse Chahara (waterfall) and continuing along the east bank from Kopchepani, we get to Narchyang Besi, with its powerhouse that supplies electricity to the locals. Villages pass more frequently. Tatopani, our stop for the day, awaits with hot springs for a refreshing bath.
Day 15 :Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2850)Leaving the motorway, we walk through villages such as Ghara and Sikha with terraces and inclined farmlands. The village lifestyle can be observed throughout the walk. A steep ascent mostly through stone paved paths leads to Ghorepani. Different colorful vegetations pass en route and as we ascent, the view of mountain peaks multiply their magnificence, yet more awaits at Poon Hill the next morning. Overnight stay at Ghorepani.
Day 16 :Explore Poonhill and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1495m)Poon Hill, at an elevation of 3210m gives the most magnificent panoramic views of the Himalayas. With the early morning sunrise, the golden peaks come into life. After an hour of the spectacular view, we return to Ghorepani for a hot meal and then start the day's trek. Walking along ridges and rhododendron forests, we pass Ulleri, a large Magar village to finally reach Tikhedhunga, our destination for the day.
Day 17 :Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul and Drive to PokharaA light trekking from Tikhedhunga gets us to Nayapul from where Pokhara is just an hour's drive away. Pokhara is a wonderful valley with mountain views and beautiful lakes. Overnight stay at a hotel
Day 18 :Tourist Bus Journey from Pokhara to KathmanduA 5/6 hours bus ride from Pokhara gets us to Kathmandu. The end of the journey is celebrated with a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 19 :Drop to Kathmandu international airport or onward for next program Departure from Kathmandu. A drop from the hotel to the airport 3 hours before the scheduled time of flight is arranged in a private tourist vehicle. You can also opt for another program with us and elongate your stay.
