Day 2: Manaslu Trek Permits and Briefing

Day 3: Kathmandu to Machha Khola (890m)
A long drive out of the city buzz. Terraced hills replace traffic as the trailhead draws closer.
Day 4: Machha Khola to Jagat (1,340m)
Suspension bridges, riverside trails, and waterfalls. Your first real taste of Manaslu's wild terrain.
Day 5: Jagat to Deng (1,860m)
Deeper into the gorge, the crowds thin. Bamboo forests and hidden villages line the way.
Day 6: Deng to Namrung (2,630m)
Cross into Tibetan-influenced territory. Mani walls and prayer flags mark the cultural shift.
Day 7: Namrung to Lho (3,180m)
Your first real glimpse of Manaslu itself. Monasteries, mountain views, and noticeably thinner air.
Day 8: Lho to Samagaon (3,520m)
Base for the days ahead. A Tibetan-style village sitting right under Manaslu's shadow.
Day 9: Acclimatization at Samagaon
Birendra Lake, Pungen Monastery, or Manaslu Base Camp. Rest your lungs, not your legs; pick your side trip.
Day 10: Samagaon to Samdo (3,860m)
A former trade village near the Tibet border. Wide valleys, thin air, and big mountain energy.
Day 11: Samdo to Larkya Phedi (4,480m)
The calm before the pass. A short trek today, but tomorrow is the big one.
Day 12: Crossing Larkya La Pass (5,106m)
The trek's toughest, proudest moment is crossing Larkya La Pass at 5,106 meters. Prayer flags snap at the roof of your journey.
Day 13: Bimthang to Tilije (2,560m)
Descending through pine and rhododendron forest. The air thickens as Larkya La fades into memory.
Day 14: Tilije to Kathmandu or Pokhara
Drive back to comfort, coffee, and hot showers. Larkya La is now just a story you will keep telling.
