Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (822m)

Day 3: Pokhara to Kande then Pitam Deurali (2,142m)
Drive to the trailhead, then climb straight into the forest. The trek officially begins at Kande.
Day 4: Pitam Deurali to Low Camp (3,050m)
Rhododendron trails and ridge-line walking. The air starts to thin; the views start to open.
Day 5: Low Camp to High Camp (3,600m)
Forest gives way to an open ridge. Machapuchare looms closer with every step toward high camp from low camp.
Day 6: High Camp to Mardi Base Camp (4,500m) then Badal Danda (3,250m)
The big day to achieve Mardi Himal Base Camp. Stand below Machapuchare at Base Camp, then descend to Badal Danda for the night.
Day 7: Badal Danda to Siding then Pokhara
A long descent through the forest to Siding, then a shared jeep ride back to lakeside comfort.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Deluxe bus back to the capital. Time to reflect on the ridge you just walked.
Day 9: Final Departure from Kathmandu
Fly home or continue onward. Mardi Himal is behind you, but Machapuchare's face won't leave your memory.
