Nepal Adventure Tour is a conglomeration of the highlights of Nepal that comprises visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the hill station at Nagarkot to view the panorama of magnificent mountain ranges, the tour of the beautiful lake city of Pokhara and further to Chitwan, the hub for Nepals wildlife preserved in their natural habitat. Meet the local Newar community residing around the Kathmandu valley and know about their culture and lifestyle, or view the mesmeric snow mountains including Everest from Nagarkot. A boat trip in Fewa viewing the mountain ranges in its reflection is equally enjoyable as a jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, where you may encounter a one horned rhino or a tiger. Day :DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU (B/L)
Day 1 :ARRIVAL KATHMANDU (D)Arrival in Kathmandu. Our Airport Representative will meet you at Tribhuwan Internationa Airport. A drop to the Hotel by private tourist vehicle is arranged. Upon arrival at the hotel, welcome drink is served and the tour guide will brief you on the program schedule. Dinner is arranged at a local Nepali restaurant. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2 :KATHMANDU- SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D) Today, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites around Kathmandu. This includes The Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swaymbhunath and Boudha. We begin our tour after breakfast.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a rare heritage site of Malla era structures, with exquisite wood carvings on display along temples. You would also want to visit the Kumari Temple that houses the living goddess Kumari. Swoyambhunath Stupa is perched on top of a small hill and is also synonymized as Monkey Temple, owing to the monkeys that amass the periphery.
Pashupatinath Temple situated at the banks of the Holy Bagmati River, which is considered among the most holy temple for Hindus around the world. This is one of the oldest temples in the valley, and worships the guardian patron deity, Lord Shiva. Boudhanath stupa, a vast dome that represents the mind of the Buddha. The peaceful site is also a major pilgrimage for Tibetan Buddhists and Tantric Buddhists.
Day 3 :ROYAL CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D) After breakfast, we head to Chitwan National Park. The drive is scenic, with mountains views, rivers, and terraced fields that keep company. It’s a 5-6 hour drive depending on the traffic and road conditions. We check in at the resort in Chitwan, where lunch has been prepared. Excursion to the national park, canoe ride to view crocodiles along the Rapti river and a variety of birds along the trail, visit to elephant breeding center et cetera are scheduled for the day. In the evening, you can visit the local market for shopping. A late evening Tharu Cultural Dance program conducted by the local Tharu community follows, after which we head back to the resort and settle for dinner. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 4 :DRIVE CHITWAN /POKHARA (B/L/D) We leave for Pokhara after breakfast. It’s a pleasant drive of around 5 hours passing beautiful scenery. You can observe local farmers working in their fields and get an insight of the daily life of the people.
Upon arrival, we check in at a lakeside hotel. You can stroll around the Fewa Lake and enjoy the serene environment of Pokhara. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 :POKHARA SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D) After breakfast, we start our tour of Pokhara. We visit the Seti gorge, Devi’s Fall, International Mountain Museum, Fewa Lake and the Tibetan Refugee Camp. To get close to nature, an hour of boating in the Fewa Lake, with the beautiful Macchapuchre and other mountain ranges forming a backdrop is also scheduled. After lunch in a local restaurant, you can take a rest. In the evening, we enjoy shopping along the streets of Pokhara, and also enjoy its nightlife. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6 :DRIVE POKHARA/ NAGARKOT(B/L/D)After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu through the same route. En route, we settle down for lunch.
On arrival in Kathmandu, after a brief rest, we prepare to head on to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur enchants every visitor with its stone paved streets, traditional houses, and simple lifestyle of the locals. The Palace with 55 windows, Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, Daatatrya Temple et cetera are some structures worth visiting. Bhaktapur is also known for its curd (Juju Dhau), pottery work around the pottery square and local handmade artifacts.
We then head to Nagarkot, a short drive from Bhaktapur. Nagarkot is renowned for the magnificent view of the northern mountains that it offers. After checking in, you can rest in the resort whilst enjoying spectacular panorama of the mountain ranges. You can visit the Nagarkot tower to enjoy a beautiful sunset or take a stroll around local villages to get a glimpse of the local lifestyle.
Day 7 :NAGARKOT / KATHMANDU We wake up early to catch a view of the wonderful sunrise. The rays falling along the chain of mountains forms a mesmeric view. After Lunch, we proceed to Kirtipur, which lies among the oldest towns in Kathmandu valley. The place contains some old and new Buddhists sites including Cilancho Stupa, and a Bihar which contains the miniature of Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, Saranath, the place where he gave his first lessons and Kushinagar, the place where he died. Chobhar, Adinath temple lies just above Kirtipur, which is worshipped by both Hindu and Buddhist people. We also visit the Chobhar Gorge, where it is believed that Manjushree cut the hill to drain away water from the valley. After a short drive, we reach Kathmandu and settle for dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day :DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU (B/L) It’s the final day of your stay in Kathmandu. After Breakfast, you can stroll around Thamel and engage in souvenir shopping. We proceed for lunch in a local restaurant and explore around Thamel and its periphery. Check Out time at the Hotel is 12 noon. A drop to the airport has been arranged three hours before your scheduled flight time. We hope that your stay in Nepal was an enjoyable one, with lots of memories to take home and expect you to join us for other programs in the days ahead.
