Thorung Phedi or Thorung High Camp may be reached in 4 to 5 hours, depending on your physical condition and the weather. Move slowly and attentively while listening to your guide. Yak and blue sheep herds may be seen grazing across the river from the course, on the opposite side of the river. There aren't many tea houses in Thorung Phedi. The first portion of the walk is a desolate, rocky area that is considerably different from the lush lowlands you passed on the way up. If you are not fatigued and want to continue, the trek to the High Camp will ease the difficulty of the next day's journey.

The only way to go from Muktinath to Thorung La Pass is downhill. Muktinath is the second-largest Hindu temple in addition to being a Buddhist temple. Numerous Hindu pilgrims visit the Muktinath shrine. There are 108 water taps and two little ponds in Muktinath. Hindus think that by taking showers from 108 different faucets, you may atone for past misdeeds. At Dhola Mebar Gompa, the Jwalamai (goddess of fire) temple, a little walk away past a cluster of Chorten, a holy natural gas flame twinkles behind a grill right above the spring.

The last few portions of the route contain some steep inclines, which makes them a little more difficult. Ascending the mountains that lead to Jomsom will bring you to the Kali Gandaki River and a windswept valley. Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek Difficulty Level

The Manaslu - Annapurna Circuit Trek is quite challenging. The strenuous level of difficulty of this journey is a result of the route's tremendous elevation. The area's highest pass, Thorung La, is situated along the hiking trail and rises to a height of 5416 meters. This part of the journey is so challenging that it is closed for most of the year due to the extreme cold and heavy snowfall. Additionally, when traveling, you always remain above 3000 meters. Some of the most challenging terrains, which are typically harsh, rocky, and steep, are traversed. Contrary to many other treks, this trek has an unalterable degree of difficulty. Although you have the option to forego some of the pathways, doing so would mean that you would lose out on the highlights of the experience. The only thing a trekker can do to prepare physically and mentally for the journey.

Manaslu Circuit with Annapurna Circuit Trek in August

With the help of Green Valley Nepal Treks, I successfully finished my Manaslu Circuit with Annapurna Circuit Trek in August. Our tour leader joined me on my walk and was excellent—well-prepared, really helpful, and informed. After the trek, he gave us a tour of Kathmandu and assisted us with the remainder of our trip plans in Nepal. He gave us some incredible suggestions for things to do and restaurants to visit. He gave us a peek of the mountain inhabitants of Nepal throughout the trip. Really friendly and an excellent hiking leader! Highly suggested.
