We make all our bookings under Green Valley Nepal Treks & Research Hub P. LTD. The company registration number is 71671/2010/2011, located at Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal.
TRIP & BOOKING CONTRACT:
Your booking is confirmed and an agreement exists when Green Valley Nepal Treks write a confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Green Valley Nepal Treks immediately.
PAYMENT:
- To confirm your booking, a 10% deposit of the total trip cost is required. You can make this deposit through the program page on our website.
- The remaining balance is upon your arrival in Kathmandu, before the start of the trip.
- We can send you an online payment link if you would like to pay the full trip amount before your arrival in Nepal. Please let us know.
Note: We prefer payment in cash (any major currency), but we also accept all major card payments and wire transfers. Please be aware that you'll be responsible for any international transaction fees.
Our Flexible Deposit Policy:
We know that life happens, and sometimes plans need to change. We want to provide you with some flexibility.
- Deposit Refunds: You'll receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel your trip at least 30 days before the departure date.
- Securing Your Deposit: If you cancel less than 30 days before departure, we'll hold your deposit securely for a future trip.
- Transfer: If you cancel less than 15 days before departure, you can easily transfer your deposit to a friend or family member who can take your place.
- No refunds will be issued if the trip is canceled or ended early after it has begun
CUTTING YOUR TRIP SHORT:
- We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to end your trip earlier than expected. Please note that if you have to cut your trip short, we are not able to offer refunds for any unused parts of your travel arrangements.
- Your travel insurance may cover trip curtailment, depending on your policy and the circumstances. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to file a claim.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS (NEPAL):
The following are applicable visa fees upon entering Nepal. These are best paid in cash in a major currency (the visa desk may be able to accept a credit card, but don't count on it). Your passport must contain a blank page and needs to have at least 6 months validity on the date you are entering Nepal. Check this as soon as you book your trek.
- US Dollars 30 for 15 days
- US Dollars 50 for 30 days
- US Dollars 125 for 90 days
Green Valley Nepal Treks recommends you fill out the online form before your arrival. To fill out the online form, please go to Nepal Immigration Website. Once you fill out the online form, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode; please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after.If so, you will have to fill it up again.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Green Valley Nepal Treks strongly recommends you issue the travel insurance, which covers trip cancelation, any loss, medical, and evacuation. We don’t endorse any particular travel insurance company, but if you need any help or recommendations, feel free to contact us either via email or WhatsApp. Green Valley Nepal Treks strongly encourages you to call your insurance company and check specifics before you leave from home. If you are planning for a climbing trip, the travel insurance policy must cover "climbing" activities.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE:
We reserve the right to refuse service in Kathmandu or during the trek. Fighting, excessive drinking, and verbal abuse of group members, guides, or staff are unacceptable behaviors and are grounds for immediate termination of our services. Please be respectful with staff, local people, culture, religions, and fellow trekkers.
USE OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS:
Our guide and staff or photographer may take photos and videos during your trip, and we may use those materials to promote our business through our website and social media.
