Stories of the mystical Yeti still surrounds the place, and very often, people feel its presence, despite the fact that very few people seem to have seen it. At Pangboche Monastery, you can even take a thorough look at the preservation of Yeti scalp. Kala Patthar is a major view point for trekkers to view Everest and there are many other places that give amazing views of its different faces.
