We booked the 14 days Annapurna Circuit Trek via our hostel. We were in contact with KP of Green Valley, who explained everything very clearly and arranged the entire trip for us in just one day. We did not have to worry about our permits or transport or anything, he did it all for us and we met our guide Dipak that same day.
The next day we already left for the trek and it was the most amazing experience of our life. Everything was arranged for us: our guide, accommodation, meals, drinks, snacks... if we ever needed something we could just ask Dipak and he would get it done. Besides the breathtaking landscapes and nature along the way, we were surprised by the guest houses we stayed at. They were really nice and not nearly as basic as we thought it would be. Excellent choice!
Dipak has been a very good guide to me and my friend. He could tell us all about the mountains, plants, Buddhism, Hinduism, Nepali life and what else. Dipak is very friendly and helpful. He also changed the trek a bit to make sure we did not get altitude sickness, which worked out for the best! Once again, thank you for everything!
Just had the best few days trekking to ABC!! Our guide was unbelievably helpful and friendly. I could not recommend Sushanta enough! He has so much knowledge about the surroundings and culture and the best places to stay for the night. He always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt like family by the end of the trek.
We went trekking in August which is monsoon season in Nepal. For the first few days it rained and we didn’t see the views, but by the time we got to ABC the clouds cleared and we had spectacular views.
Would like to thank everyone at Green Valley Treks!
My partner and I have just got back from an amazing trek to Annapurna base camp with our guide Raj and what a wonderful experience it was! Raj was the perfect guide - helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He has ample experience as a guide and would help us out with whatever we needed. He didn't rush us and was open to anything we wanted to do. I cannot express how great he was as a guide and a friend!
The company itself was also very good, we booked the trek after going through much detail about possibilities within our budget and the gentleman (whose name I cannot remember!) was very helpful and not pushy at all.
Thanks everyone for a great time and thank you so much Raj!Wood Guthrie , United States
Had an amazing experience of Green Valley tour company. We booked a 4day tour in Kathmandu valley with a guide and a driver.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made our trip very special. The driver was always on time to pick us up from our hotel.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any visits in kathmandu valley and tekking services.
We did the '3 Day Hiking around Kathmandu' trek with this company. It was almost certainly the highlight of a 2 week trip to both Nepal and India. Our guide Ram was very knowledgeable about the areas we were trekking through and was friendly with a good sense of humour. We left the trip with a true friend.
Staying in the villages, we could see first hand the damage from the (fairly) recent earthquake. We also got to try a lot of local food and learn some traditional poems.
...In the mountain.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this company to others. Just don't let Ram know you are scared of snakes.
We had an unbelievable time trekking for 8 days in the Annapurna region. It is a stunning place and everyone you meet is really friendly! We included Poon hill on our way to ABC which was great even though the view was blocked by thick monsoon cloud. We were really lucky that the clouds lifted for us to see the super impressive white peaks including Annapurna 1 and Macchapuchhare!! We had the most amazing guide Sushanta who never stopped smiling and teaching us interesting facts about Nepal and looked after us as if we were family! I would highly recommend this to everyone..it was just incredible! :)Jess , Australia
The Three Passes Trek is the ultimate tour of the Everest region. It was my first trek at altitude, and I was a little concerned about attempting this route, but I am so happy I did it. The Three Passes Trek takes you off the beaten path (read crowded trail) of the ...read more
