Bhutan, a landlocked country, remained isolated from the rest of the world until1960s. To visit this country and observe its prosperous culture, which the government has carefully endeavored to preserve over the years, is quite rewarding.
The flight from Kathmandu to Druk Air marks the beginning of this interesting journey. En route, you can relish wonderful mountain views. Once you reach Paro, a guide from Bhutan will welcome you. The tour begins with a visit to Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest Monastery of Bhutan along with a glimpse of Paro town. The next day we hike to Taktsang Monastery view point. In the afternoon, you will make a visit to the National Museum and drive to Thimpu. The third day is spent on Thimpu sightseeing which includes everything from paying a visit to arts and crafts school to looking at Memorial Chorten, watching the beautiful multi-storied stupa et cetera. A flight back to Kathmandu from Paro is scheduled for the next morning.
