I am not a professional climber, just a passionate trekker who wanted to push her limits. Green Valley Nepal Treks made the Three High Passes Trek with Island Peak Climbing feel completely achievable from start to finish. Our guide Nir Kumar Karki was extraordinary. As a specialist in the Everest Three High Passes route, he knew every trail, every teahouse, and every challenge that lay ahead. He paced us perfectly, never rushed our acclimatization, and always made sure we were safe and happy.

The Gokyo Lakes left me completely speechless, that turquoise color against the snow-capped peaks is something no photograph can truly capture. And when I stood on the summit of Island Peak and looked out over the Himalayan giants, I burst into tears. Pure joy. Green Valley Nepal Treks and Nir Kumar made this dream a reality for me. Absolutely five stars, worth every penny and every training hour!

I have just finished a wonderful experience trekking with Ambar as my guide. He was supportive, attentive, and always made sure I was safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We all got along so well from the beginning and had a lot of laughs along the way. When I started to feel unwell at altitude, he handled the situation calmly and professionally, which I really appreciated. The trek was challenging but very rewarding, and I’m grateful for his knowledge and care along the way. I would definitely recommend Ambar and Green Valley Nepal Treks to anyone considering a trek in Nepal.

I went on the Nar Phu Trek and Tilicho Lake with three companions. Our guide did an excellent job of guiding us through the wooded track and the picturesque towns. He was very aware of his obligations, and we had nothing more at our disposal than extremely skilled guides. The breathtaking mountain views and the small settlements were like an open book with so much to discover. I relished every second of it. My friend and I had an absolutely amazing experience! We started April 13 flying by heli into Lukla. We met our guide, Bindra, in Lukla. He was by far the best part of our trip (and we had perfect weather)!! I can’t stress how amazing of a guide he was. He kept my friend and I safe and tailored the pace once he realized we were strong trekkers. For example, he had us climb Kalapatthar the same day as EBC while the views of Everest were stunning and not affected by weather. He also recommended us to buy crampons when he realized we were going to hit icy conditions which were not initially forecasted when we left Kathmandu. Everything went perfectly on the entire trip. He was such an experienced trekking guide and the company itself was so easy to work with. Arjun was always responsive to all of questions I asked via WhatsApp while still in the USA. 100000% recommend and will be back next year to do Mera peak with this company!!!!!

I inquired relatively last minute and Arjun was extremely helpful and responsive, assisting me to make the booking that suited my needs. His team were also helpful when travel plans were disrupted and I needed to change certain pickup / drop off times. On the trek I met Biru who was my guide up to base camp. He is very knowledgeable about the route and all the places / mountains we saw along the way. He helped ensure every day went smoothly and I was well taken care of. His choice of lunch places to stop and the tea houses to stay in were all spot on. I am very grateful to him for taking such good care of me and getting me to base camp and back safely. I couldn’t recommend Biru and Green Valley highly enough.

We did the EBC trek in march 2026 with Green Valley Nepal, and wow what an experience! We couldn't have asked for a better guide - Ghopal! Great guy with humour, super knowledgeable and he was very accommodating and made us feel safe during the trek. For us with a tight schedule, the helicopter return was a must, but what a view! Recommend!
