We had a great experience traveling to Kala Pattar and crossing Cho La to reach Gokyo. Spectacular vistas as you ascend Gokyo Ri and descend via the lovely Gokyo Valley. We went on the Mardi Himal Trek. Arjun, the proprietor, made it easy to organize this vacation. He ensured that we were cared for both before and after the trek, making our first trip to Nepal wonderful. The trek with our porter and guide, Bishow, was fantastic. Bishow gave us the impression that we were well-informed about what to expect each day, how to dress, and how to ensure that we drank plenty of water and had breaks.
