We recently completed a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Green Valley. Overall our trip was incredible and certainly life-changing!

We had a couple of problems flying to Lukla at the start due to bad weather, however, Arjun was fantastic in managing to find us new seats as early as possible to get us out there as quickly as he could! Thanks again Arjun, it was appreciated.

In relation to the trip itself, our Green Valley Guide was DK (Darnell), and he was fantastic. He really helped us to maintain a steady pace, and kept on top of us to make sure we were drinking enough water and eating enough food! This certainly helped us stay healthy and full of energy during the crucial trip.

DK is a very knowledgeable guide who has many stories and facts to tell you about every mountain peak, he has a great sense of humor and makes us laugh every single day. He made the trip so much more fun and was very patient with us too. It wouldn't have been the same without him.

Special mention also to our porter “Ram" who was incredible. He carried our bags every day, always arrived early, and always made sure he arrived at the next accommodation before us so that our luggage was waiting when we arrived!

Overall an incredible experience. Thank you to everyone at Green Valley for always being available, and working hard to make sure our trip went smoothly from start to finish!

The 10 day trip in Langtang valley, this journey which began in Syabrubasi up to Kyanjin Gompa was my favorite. The sceneries continued to evolve, initially becoming forests then old villages and finally, magnificent snow tops. The best experience was the exploration day at Kyanjin Gompa and this is one trek I would find interesting when visiting both cultures and enjoying a mountain adventure with a touch of natural beauty.

Arrival of the Everest Base Camp after days trekking in Namche, Tengboche and Dingboche was a dream come true and a helicopter back only added more to it. The trip to Kalapatthar and back to Gorakshep by flight saved us several days of walking time and provided us with spectacular aerial panoramas of the Himalayas. This ten-day trip is an ideal combination of the adventure, comfort, and efficiency.

I am an experienced traveller having gone to Machu Picchu and other sacred sites, but this one day helicopter tour visiting Muktinath and Damodar Kunda was something different, the mountains seemed to be speaking in blessings. The staff was so professional and the experience was managed both technically and spiritually with utility and reverence. I still see in my mind's eye the glistening lakes viewed from up high.

The weather was not good when our flight took off. Seriously, if it was a plane flight or even if we were to come down on our own, we could not do that on that particular day. We called Arjun at Green Valley and told him about the weather.

That's when he suggested we return on a helicopter flight as that would operate even in such weather. We agreed and he found a group for us within the next 20 minutes. Also, the flight was onboarded the next day.

Within 30 minutes, we reached Lukla. The flight was amazing and the team we came with, also was so friendly. We enjoyed the flight to the fullest. Just would love to thank Arjun for suggesting this amazing heli ride over the Himalayas.

This 12 day Annapurna Circuit Trek was memorable. The trip between Kathmandu and Dharapani, Manang and Throng La Pass to Muktinath was like entering a new world. Every day provided me with a combination of amazing mountainous landscape and warm local villages that made it a real Himalayan adventure.

Joined an 18-day Everest High Passes Clockwise Trek with some fellow trekkers arranged by Green Valley Nepal Treks. Arjun was the main coordinator and he was excellent in coordination of logistics and overall preparations.

On my arrival in Kathmandu, I was received by the GVNT representative and taken to the hotel in Thamel. Such an amazing hotel right beside the Green Valley office. After freshening myself up, I went to the office where Arjun ensured we had all the required equipment and administrative items.

The next day, we were taken to Kathmandu Airport and flew to Lukla Airport, where our guide, Gokarna Rai was waiting for us. Gokarna was the best guide I could hope for, very upbeat and articulate, and was able to communicate with us with very good English. Throughout the trek, Gokarna closely monitored our well-being, was very helpful in all aspects, accommodated to the speed at which we moved, and all in all an enjoyable person to hike with.

I can’t explain how well the whole group of trekkers bonded with Gokarna because he was very encouraging and positive. Loved the way he explained everything with a smile on his face and did not get stressed regardless of the millions of questions we asked. Besides, he also punctually attended all the meetings and made sure that the itinerary was not hampered at all. Also, the way he helped us trek in the challenging terrain of Everest while suggesting the best practices. He had great navigation skills and always knew the way.

I highly recommend Green Valley, Arjun, and most of all, Gokarna as a guide, and I would most definitely ask for him as a guide for future treks in the Everest Region. His deep experience as a guide and endearing nature will ensure that you are safe and have an excellent experience in the mountains.

The staff is amazing, the Services - to the to-the-point, the food - deliciously fulfilling, the accommodation, and guides - helpful and cheerful, and the package - affordable and reasonable, that’s all I can say about the Everest Base Camp trek by road with Green Valley Nepal Trek.

There was not even a single moment where I remember being dissatisfied with GVNT’s services and the guide’s and porter’s response. I loved walking to the base of the tallest mountain and returned with a dream of reaching Everest’s summit one day.

If I ever again plan to visit Nepal for any tourism purpose, I would look no further than Green Valley Nepal Treks to arrange my journey and accommodation there. They have the perfect idea about how a person from any other country will be satisfied and would like to visit their country time and again.
