I and My three buddies from college did the EBC Trek with Green Valley. Everything was going great until the day we got to EBC and one of us had our O2 level drop to below 50%. We needed to get him a helicopter down ASAP and our guide as well as his boss back in Kathmandu coordinated the helicopter in minutes. They all speak great English and are super responsive on WhatsApp.

If our buddy wouldn’t have gotten AMS, we wouldn’t have needed to talk about this so the other things that are great about Green Valley are the price, how everything is handled for you, the free duffel bag they give you that you get to keep, the friendly guides, and how it’s a local company so you know the money is staying in Nepal and not going back to the US. The whole experience is definitely challenging and there were times when we felt pretty rough, but Green Valley made it as good as it possibly could be. 10/10 experience. Would recommend it to anyone.

It was an unforgettable experience with clear skies, sun & snow. Our guides Ram & Porter Lakshman was very professional and patient. The trekking company handled food & lodging very well and we only had to concentrate on our climbing. The views were breathtaking and everything went according to plan.

We had an unforgettable experience on our trek! We were in contact with Arjun 6 months before we even came and he was always quick and ready to help us with any questions we had leading up to the trek.

Our guide, Bhusan was AMAZING. We had such a fun and enjoyable time with him. The people in the Everest region are just the best and are always so kind. He always made sure we were doing okay and even was able to get us some extra blankets if they were available in the coldest places. Our porter Binot was also incredible. We were always so grateful for him whenever we saw him.

Something to be aware of going into this experience is that the organization and management in Nepal are chaotic. We had a night in Gorakshep where we had to sleep in a tent which we were very unhappy with since we booked it 6 months before and expected a room. Be prepared that this experience is not luxurious and so don’t get mad at the companies if you have a problem. We quickly realized that how things are booked and how things get done is very different from the USA and that it is not always the trekking companies' fault. You are here experiencing another culture after all so embrace it.

Excellent and very attentive guides Yadu and Gokurna, and assistant guide Keshov went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable throughout the 12-day trek in high-altitude areas. The itinerary was thoughtfully crafted and each area visited was absolutely beautiful. We learned a lot about the Himalayas and Nepali culture thanks to the exceptional service provided.

We were a big group of 17 and the trek was very well organized. Our guides: Yadu Kapri, Gokarna (Gorki), and Keshav went out of their way to take care of us. They made sure were comfortable and warm. Thank you, Yadu, for helping me finish the trek! Special appreciation also to their boss, the owner of Green Valley, Arjun for arranging our special requests. Should I have the chance to trek in Nepal again, I will definitely be working with Green Valley again!

Went on a 14-day EBC Trek with Green Valley in a group of 3 people with our guide, Gopal. This was my first time trekking in Nepal and it has been a great experience. Arjun, who was my point of contact, provides fast replies and he also replied to all my questions before the trip. Was very lucky to have Gopal as our guide as he was very experienced and would check on us after our trek and during dinner time. He was very reliable and made us feel safe especially since it was our first time trekking at such high altitudes. Unfortunately, I started to get really nauseous after coming down from base camp, but Gopal was quick to react, he took my oxygen saturation and knew exactly what to do, making the decision to descend when I was not getting better. I think it is very reassuring to have a reliable guide and porter throughout the trip. I would highly recommend Green Valley!!
