This Gokyo Cho La Pass 17 days EBC Trek was an ideal blend of high-altitude challenge, adventure, and culture. Trekking over Dzongla and Lobuche to the Everest Base Camp and the spectacular Gokyo Lakes, every day was remarkable. Going over Cho LaPass was a challenge, but the panorama was worth the end price. Kala Patthar at dawn gave me one of the most classic Himalayan sunrises I have ever witnessed.

The Gokyo Valley Circuit Trek came as a refreshing change to the normal route of Everest Base Camp. The progressive walk along the trail between Namche and Dole and Machhermo allowed me the ideal time to become acclimatized and reaching Gokyo with its glorious blue lakes was like a dream. An ideal mix of adventure and tranquility within 13 days.

This adventure was everything I ever imagined: hard, satisfying, and pitched just right. My trip in Namche, Tengboche and Dingboche offered enough time to acclimatize and make marvel of the mountain views. It was surreal to get to Everest Base Camp but the best felt like the flight back by helicopter after a climb up to at least Kalapatthar. Viewing the Khumbu Icefall, the glaciers and the Himalayan ranges was one of those once in a lifetime experiences. It is the best hiking escapade that one needs to take when seeking adventure and in the process having comfort later.

I adored the Everest Base Camp Trek Helicopter Return Kathmandu to Kathmandu-10 Days. My climb up Lobuche and Gorakshep to the Base Camp of Everest was a little tough yet satisfying and the early rise of the sun at Kalapatthar before we were flown back to Kathmandu by the helicopter was simply magnificent.

The Everest Base Camp 12-day walk was the ideal amount of the difficult and the rewarding practices. I took the Lukla flight and slowly climbed towards Namche, Tengboche and Dingboche and the altitude came at me but as the acclimatization days progressed, it was straight forward. It is not possible to describe what it felt like to be at the Everest Base Camp and subsequently to climb Kala Patthar to have a sunrise view of Everest. Flying back to Kathmandu, the trek along the Pheriche and Namche allowed me the time to absorb the activity.

The best thing that occurred in my Nepal trip was the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour. The experience of flying over Khumbu Glacier and landing at Kalapatthar to have close views of Mt. Everest was surreal. Simply a breakfast at Everest View Hotel with the mountain scenery spread across was something I could not forget, luxury and adventure at one place!

I participated in the 14 days Manaslu Circuit Tour and this was one of my best life experiences. It trails through quieter areas and has just as spectacular mountains particularly in the areas of Samagaon and Bimthang. Day at Larkya La Pass was the best moment; it was very challenging, but the scenic views it offered will be etched in my mind forever.

The most successful adventure that I have undergone was the Annapurna Full Circuit Trek. There was something new each day, whether it was the green tracks along the Dharapani or the alpine charm of Manang or the exciting Thorong La Pass (5416m) crossing. The cultural and scenic balance of the trek was perfect with a sunrise view at Poon Hill and a hot spring at Tatopani.
