We trekked from Lukla to EBC while exploring Gokyo and Cho La Pass and back over 17 days. We booked the trip through Green Valley after reading good reviews and I am very glad we did and would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Booking the trip through Arjun in the Kathmandu office was straightforward and smooth. Arjun accommodated all requests easily and communication was always excellent.

The trip included 2 nights in a hotel in Kathmandu which I was very pleased with. It was well situated with everything you need nearby. We arrived late after a long flight and were able to get dinner via ideal room service.

The transfers between Kathmandu and Lukla were arranged by Green Valley and this is where booking with a Nepalese company is advantageous as we had the best transfers. This meant that they were at a sensible time of the day and were in and out of Kathmandu without long road transfers to other airports. We spoke to other travelers along the trail and back in Kathmandu and no one else had such a good service. Until you are in Nepal and trying to fly back to Kathmandu tired and grubby you cannot appreciate how valuable this service is!

Our guide Bishwa met us in Lukla from the airport and was with us every step of the way. He was organised, and experienced and made the whole experience fantastic. Technically it would be possible to trek without a guide and it was something we considered but I am very glad that we decided to trek with Bishwa. All the logistics (sorting out room bookings, organizing food and drinks, dealing with overbooked tea houses) were completely taken care of by Bishwa so we could just relax and enjoy the trek.

Without Bishwa we would not have had such a good experience. Going to such a high altitude in an unfamiliar environment is also an experience that benefits from having some guidance as Bishwa was always there for reassurance and advice and to add some fun - and be a professional photographer!

The trekking is not too much of a challenge as you do not walk too far most days. The bigger challenge is the altitude. You will feel cold - take the best quality warm clothes and a sleeping bag. You’ll be grateful for them! Also for the middle part of the trek for about 7 days, there is no running water so be prepared to embrace mountain life. You can book a private tour with Green Valley or have other trekkers in the same group. There are pros and cons to both but there are no big groups of 20-25 like we saw with other agencies which looked less enjoyable.

Finally booking with a Nepalese company (as opposed to a UK/USA based version) is in my opinion the best choice. The service was fantastic and at every stage, we were always receiving the best care and having a better time than other groups. I would recommend Green Valley completely, they were brilliant.

I had an amazing experience trekking the Manaslu Circuit with Green Valley. Exceptionally helpful at every point and well-organized from the beginning. I wholeheartedly endorse them.

I did the Lobuche peak climbing while returning from the EBC trek. I was told that this was one of the best side climb expeditions in the Khumbu region so, I thought why not give this a try. Walking along the snow-covered path with such mesmerizing views of the mountain peaks was amazing. I might have clicked over a hundred photos and videos because the place was just insanely great. Also, the services offered by GVNT are of next level. Even while we stayed in the tent, it was so warm and cozy and the food was also perfectly packed. Just like the name of the package, it was budget-friendly for me. A reasonable way to get the vistas of the amazing Everest Base Camp and surrounding peaks like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama-Dablam, Island Peak, and other peaks on the way to Everest Base Camp. I loved how the Green Valley Nepal Treks team helped me overcome my fear and watch the world from an altitude of 5364 meters.

This trek also gave me a chance to interact with the beautiful Sherpa people and the guides also made it possible for me to talk to them.

If you ask me, I would recommend everyone to try this Budget Everest Base Camp with Green Valley Nepal Treks. This is the perfect trekking agency in Nepal with highly talented and seasoned guides and porters along with in-house officers.

The high point of my 15-day journey was hiking the breathtaking path to Gokyo Lakes in the Everest Region. I was in awe of the amazing vistas of the Himalayas, which included the mighty Everest. Even though I wanted to stay longer, my schedule wouldn't allow it. Thank goodness, I got the professional help of Arjun from Green Valley Nepal Treks, who created a customized schedule for me. My amiable guide made sure everything went well the entire way, and I had no problems in the highlands. I had a good night's sleep after a few hours of hiking, and the dinner was great. The hotel proprietors were friendly and helpful.

Gokyo Valley Circuit Trek is a perfect trekking route in the Khumbu region if you are looking for an adventurous escape from the chaos. I was tired from the everyday work and wanted to go for some adventurous tour when I found out about the Gokyo Valley Circuit Trek. In my research, a friend of mine suggested going for the trek with Green Valley Nepal Treks, and all I can do is thank that friend of mine.

I read the whole package description on the GVNT website and it sounded like something I shall not miss at all. So, without any further thought, I booked the package, went to Nepal, and met Arjun, one of the owners of the Green Valley Nepal Treks. On my arrival at Kathmandu Airport, they welcomed me with such joy and pleasure and took me to a hotel in Thamel.

A little rest and then I met the GVNT team, when Arjun described the trek and also gave us a necessary gear check. So many of the necessary equipment like duffle bags, down jackets, etc were provided by the Green Valley Nepal Treks while they also suggested a place where I could get other necessary gear of the best quality at the most appropriate cost.

The service and support during the trek were also praiseworthy. A professional and seasoned guide accompanied us during the expedition making the walk full of encouragement, motivation, and knowledge. Besides, they also arranged perfect and the most comfortable accommodation and three times meals.

One of the best things they did was reveal the expenses I had to bear during the trek except for the package such as the electricity charge, water and food charges, hot shower charges, etc which needed to be paid the higher altitude. As a whole, I admired the service offered by the GVNT which made my visit to the Gokyo Valley Circuit as less pressurized as possible. Lovely experience with the guides in the Himalayas of Nepal.

Green Valley Nepal Treks were amazing and kept us up to date throughout the trip! Arjun was great and replied to all my messages and questions regarding the trip. He made sure someone was waiting at the airport to pick us up even though our plane was delayed and we had to keep changing the time we arrived at Kathmandu! We stayed a few extra nights in Kathmandu after we had completed base camp and Arjun still arranged a transfer to the airport.

We met Yadu our guide the morning of the trek in Kathmandu, he was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and supportive! He knew so much about the mountain range and culture. He was great with our safety and made sure we didn't have any injuries or altitude sickness. He was so thoughtful and if we had an issue then he would sort it for us. He made us laugh and was just a positive person to have as a guide.

Green Valley Nepal Trekking was so accommodating, we decided to get down from base camp in 2 days instead of 3. Yadu and Arjun were so good with this and changed our flight tickets and hotel. Returning via heli ride was another magical experience we had on the trip. Watching the mystical and stunning views of the mountains, snow-covered valleys, and the aerial view of Nepal.

The porters were brilliant and so helpful as well!

What a wonderful journey and encounter. Couldn't speak highly enough about Green Valley. They were well-organized, polite, and professional. Arjun was always willing to help out when needed and to answer any inquiries.

Sanjil was our tour guide, and he was excellent. Lively, knowledgeable, and helpful with all of our needs. From the time of our departure till our return to Kathmandu, he was concerned about our experience.

The hike was amazing in and of itself, but it was made even more memorable by our wonderful guide and companions. I'm grateful to Sanjil and Arjun for an amazing trip. When we return, we'll make reservations through Green Valley.
