A Perfect Family Day Hike with Green Valley Nepal Treks

We had an incredible experience with Green Valley Nepal Treks, organized by Arjun Pandey and guided by Raju Tamang. The hike through Ranikot’s stunning landscapes was perfect for our family, including our 10-year-old son. Raju made the trek engaging and ensured a comfortable pace for everyone.

The highlight was a delicious homemade Nepali lunch with a local family, where we learned about their daily lives, thanks to Raju’s insightful translations. The breathtaking views of terraced fields and the warm hospitality made this trip truly special.

Highly recommended for families, even with younger children!

    Adventure with comfort and adventure!

The fact that you drive some of the trek makes it more manageable and provides the complete experience of Everest. Namche-Dingboche acclimatization, Kalapatthar sunrise and more, this is the perfect itinerary of trekkers who desire to get a full, but less demanding EBC.

    An unforgettable roadforgetrek experience

A trek by road to the Everest Base Camp is an excellent method of visiting the Khumbu area without flying to Lukla. The slow climb to Phakding, Namche, and further, served to have my body adjust to the altitude and the jeep rides provided an added comfort in circumstances of long travel days.

    Adventure of a Lifetime

From the first flight to the final trek, it felt like a gift every day. A mixture of physical challenge and breathtaking scenes made it unforgettable. Seeing Everest closely at the base camp, I experienced a victory that I never felt before.

    Unforgettable helicopter tour to Everest

The helicopter tour to the Everest Base camp was a dream realized. Everything was seamlessly organized even during the early morning pick-up, up to the hassle free check-in at Kathmandu airport. The view of Mt. Everest at the Kalapatthar was the nearest to the mountain and thus the most beautiful experience. Having breakfast at the Everest View Hotel where the panoramic views of the mountain, not mentioning having breakfast there is definitely a culmination to such kind of once-in-a- lifetime experience.

A Journey of Strength and Wonder

This trek wasn’t just walking, it was a challenge to test my body, my spirit. Other days were hard such as Lobuche to Gorakshep but the magnificent views kept me motivated. I also liked the way the schedule combined the days of hard trekking with acclimatization so that I could rest in Namche Bazaar and to experience Himalayan culture. Being at Base Camp was also a surreal experience, and the trek back to Lukla allowed me to contemplate the great adventure. The thing is I would love to do it again.

    Well-Planned and Unforgettable

This hike was arranged in an ideal way. The acclimatization breaks at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche were necessary and the fact that I got to Gorakshep before the hike to the Everest Base Camp gave me the motivation I required. The Everest Base Camp Trek -14 Days indeed is a lifetime experience.

    What a perfect combo!

This EBC 10 day trek suited all the perfectly and it fit and suited me well of not having to walk back long distances, as I was willing to add the trek to my itinerary. Traveling via Namche, Tengboche and Dingboche enabled me to acclimatize successfully and being on the Everest Base Camp was a dream of a lifetime. The last part of the tedious journey was the helicopter trip back Kathmandu after ascending Kala Patthar, which as you can remember was the memorable airplane sightseeing of the Himalayas, and made this experience even more special.
