    Tea Houses and Triumphs

I enjoyed the rhythm of this trek--trek, rest, acclimatize, repeat. Every teahouse stop was friendly, cosy and full of stories. However, the best thing happened? Peeking at Everest from Gorakshep. I would completely recommend this journey to anyone who sees a challenge and falls in love with the Himalayas.

A Hidden Gem Compared to EBC

I have already done the base camp of Everest but there was a feeling that the Gokyo Valley Circuit Trek was different and less congested. Villages of Dole and Machhermo were so pleasant, and days were spent around Gokyo with its glittering lakes never to be forgotten. The mountain road through the Renjo La Pass had magnificent scenery that I will not be able to forget.

Reaching the Iconic Everest Base Camp

Personally, the 14-day Everest Base Camp treking was the experience of a lifetime. Since the exhilarating flight to Lukla and the initial walk to Phakding, I realized I was to have a lifetime experience. In Namche the bazaar was bustling with life, and the days of acclimatization in Namche and Dingboche enforced on me the stamina to go higher. It was unrealistic to stand at the Everest Base Camp after the trek at Lobuche and Gorakshep and the sunrise scenery at Kalapatthar was the best experience of the journey. The journey took me through Pangboche and Namche which was a wonderful way of closing the adventure.

    Thrilling Manaslu Circuit Adventure

Manaslu Circuit Trek is the most gratifying Himalayan expedition that I ever had. The journey starting in the small towns of Jagat and Deng to the remarkable acclimatization day in Samagaon where you could see the base camp of Manaslu was both adventure-gripping in the initial stages and largely cultural. Climbing Larkya La Pass was not easy because the altitude of 5106m but time and again as the snow peaks and the glaciers are seen, it was all worth it.

Best way to visit EBC in little time!

This walk was the best, I had a tight schedule and had enough time to acclimatize in Namche and Dingboche, and then sufficient time to appreciate Base Camp and Kalapatthar. The flight by a helicopter back to Kathmandu was something out of this universe as one can see the grand panoramas of Everest and the Khumbu Glacier. This trek is highly recommendable in case you would like to have the entire EBC experience yet would like to have a quick scenic trip back.

    Two Worlds, One Journey

This was a 23-day journey that was literally like making two epic treks at once. The best of both worlds To the quiet, mystical tracks of the Manaslu region to the vibrant, windswept valleys of the Annapurna Circuit. My favorite days were the acclimatization days in Samdo and Manang when all I did was play cards, drink tea, and soak it all in. My legs were tired, my heart was packed, and my camera roll is legendary now!

    Fast-paced but rewarding

Even with limited time but with great ambition, the 12-day Everest Base Camp lesson was the right choice. There were no days of hurry, the time spent in acclimatization in Namche and Dingboche ended in the right places and I did not feel pressured to move. The effort was well rewarded once I reached the Base Camp and saw the sunrise in Kala Patthar.
